Baseball Recap: Marlette Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Marlette finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Sandusky Wolves. The game marked the first time this season in which the Red Raiders were not able to get on the board.

With the defeat, Marlette broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Sandusky, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

While Marlette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
