Baseball Preview: Germantown Clippers vs. Rensselaer Rams
The Germantown Clippers will head out on the road to take on the Rensselaer Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Germantown kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 8-3 to Hadley Luzerne. The loss means Germantown is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
Meanwhile, Rensselaer scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Greenville. The victory was just what Rensselaer needed coming off of a 12-4 defeat in their prior matchup.
Noah Vogel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Vogel was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
