Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Royal Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

After only two runs in their last match, IMG Academy Royal made sure to put some runs up on the board against Central Pointe Christian Academy on Thursday. The Ascenders came out on top against the CPCA by a score of 12-8. The victory continues a trend for the Ascenders in their matchups with the CPCA: they've now won four in a row.

IMG Academy Royal let Matt McGuire and Michael Pino run wild. McGuire went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Pino went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. Those two hits gave McGuire a new career-high. Tom Imaizumi was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

IMG Academy Royal pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
