Basketball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 75-7 loss at the hands of the Lafayette Fighting Irish. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Braelyn Vaughn was Cameron's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lafayette, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cameron will square off against rival Maryville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lafayette is set to face off against their familiar foe Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
