Erie falls despite strong effort from Alexandra Pasquarelli

Recap: Erie Red Devils vs. Caney Valley Bullpups
The Erie Red Devils were the 42-39 winner over the Caney Valley Bullpups when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Erie lost to Caney Valley on the road by a decisive 60-41 margin on Tuesday. Erie has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Erie still got an impressive performance from Alexandra Pasquarelli, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Pasquarelli's eighth in a row with at least ten points.
Erie's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Caney Valley, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Erie will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fredonia at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Caney Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eureka on January 23rd.
