Cimarron hadn't done well against Goodland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bluejays came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 2-0. For the Bluejays, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cowboys walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-22.

Kynlee Frink was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and one assist.

The win made it two in a row for Cimarron and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Goodland, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4.

Coming up, Cimarron will be taking part in a tournament against Syracuse on Saturday. As for Goodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Holcomb on the 2nd.
