Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Springfield Senators came up short against the Taylorville Tornadoes and fell 63-56. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Taylorville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Springfield will venture away from home to face off against Mahomet-Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taylorville, they will welcome Williamsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
