Volleyball Recap: Cornwall Central Comes Up Short

Cornwall Central was the 1-0 winner over John Jay when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cornwall Central's loss dropped their record down to 18-2-2. As for John Jay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

Cornwall Central will head out to challenge Valley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Jay, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 27th.
