Arlington moved up to 69 from 98 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Wesco - North. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of besting Mount Vernon 14-7.
Monroe lost to Lake Stevens 49-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Bulldogs' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tristan Brock threw for 57 yards and Miles Witt had 28 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Hayman contributed 80 yards. Hayman helped Mount Vernon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 10 yards.

On the heels of Jacob Eason and Austin Otis, the Vikings have had great success on offense. Eason leads the league in passing with 648 yards, while Otis has rushed for 434 yards this season. Jay Silver's team's Melvin Walser leads the league in receiving yards with 277 on 16 catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Mount Vernon takes on second place Lake Stevens. Last week, the Bulldogs fell to Greg Dailer's team, while Lake Stevens topped the Bearcats.
Next week's game between Tom Tri's team and Mount Vernon will feature a good passing match up as Eason will test his arm against Hayman's defensive ability.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Vikings and the Bulldogs face off next week.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Mount Vernon takes on Lake Stevens. The Bulldogs have allowed 31 points this season, while the Vikings have given up 87. Mount Vernon allowed 14 points last week as it fell to the Eagles.
Arlington made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,153 from 4,642. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 14-7 victory over the Bulldogs last week.
