Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Waco

Chaparral will head out to face Waco after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Chaparral fell just short of University by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Waco, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ellison a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Waco pushed their record up to 6-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
