Softball Recap: South Point Red Raiders vs. Forestview Jaguars
After flying high against Lincolnton last Thursday, South Point came back down to earth. The South Point Red Raiders fell just short of the Forestview Jaguars by a score of 8-7 on Friday. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Stella Absher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
