Soccer Game Preview: Fairfield Central vs. Mid-Carolina

Fairfield Central hasn't had much luck against Mid-Carolina recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Griffins will welcome the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fairfield Central is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game last Thursday. They came up short against Clinton, falling 4-0.

Despite a strong season so far, Mid-Carolina has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to Columbia last Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Mid-Carolina were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Ryker Woolstenhulme, who's now up to eight this season.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Fairfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
