Basketball Recap: McKay Comes Up Short

McKay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 55-40 fall against the Crescent Valley Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Royal Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Raiders are ranked 30th).

McKay's record now sits at 6-12. As for Crescent Valley, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKay will head out to square off against South Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
