Altamont is 0-4 against Milford since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Longhorns are taking a road trip to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Altamont comes in on five and Milford on three.

Altamont is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Utah Military Academy - Hill Field 68-36 last Thursday. Considering the Longhorns have won three contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Logan Nelson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 73 yards, while also picking up 48 receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Altamont proved: they limited Utah Military Academy - Hill Field to a paltry -0.2 yards per carry. The Longhorns' ground attack was stronger, having averaged five.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Milford against Parowan on Friday as the squad secured a 35-6 victory. The Tigers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fourth game they've won by 20+ points this season.

Altamont better keep an eye on Kyzler Merryweather. He was instrumental in Milford's win, rushing for 103 yards and three scores, while also picking up 44 receiving yards. Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Nelson and Merryweather. Nelson just won't slow down this season and has averaged 46.7 rushing yards per game. Merryweather has been a dominant force too and has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 70.7 rushing yards per game.
