Recap: GEO Next Generation Tigers vs. Dunham Tigers
The GEO Next Generation Tigers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 44-36 to Dunham on Friday. While losing is never fun, GEO Next Generation can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Dunham is ranked 98th).
Despite the loss, GEO Next Generation still got an impressive performance from Quinniece Darby, who scored 21 points. That was a full 58.3% of GEO Next Generation's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimberly Jack, who scored four points along with seven blocks.
GEO Next Generation's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Dunham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-7.
GEO Next Generation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dunham also has no future games currently scheduled.
