Van Alstyne entered their tilt with Bells on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bells Panthers by a score of 36-26. The win was all the more spectacular given Van Alstyne's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 606th, while Bells is ranked 301st).

Van Alstyne is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season. As for Bells, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Alstyne will square off against Muenster at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Muenster's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Van Alstyne's offense will have their work cut out for them.
