It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Immanuel Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Chelsea Academy Knights with a sharp 7-1 win. Immanuel Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Chelsea Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lucas Pinzon led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Immanuel Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five matchups. As for Chelsea Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Immanuel Christian will face off against Fredericksburg Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Fredericksburg Academy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Chelsea Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
