Recap: Denver North Vikings vs. Niwot Cougars
The Denver North Vikings won the last time they faced the Niwot Cougars, and things went their way on Thursday too. Denver North came out on top against Niwot by a score of 24-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Denver North.
Denver North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Frankie Dardano, who threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jack Gordon also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
Denver North now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Niwot, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Denver North will head out on the road to face off against Holy Family at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Family will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Niwot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
