Football Recap: Kalani Takes a Loss

Kalani was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pearl City Chargers 52-17. The Falcons lost against the Chargers in their previous head to head back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-21 score last time.

Kalani now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Pearl City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Kalani will host McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Pearl City, they will face off against Kalaheo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
