Volleyball Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Comes Up Short

Lausanne Collegiate managed to slip by St. Benedict at Auburndale the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lynx lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Lynx just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-23, 28-26.

Lausanne Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Lausanne Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Arlington on the 17th. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they will square off against St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
