Baseball Recap: Bartlesville Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Bartlesville's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Marlow Outlaws 8-6.

The team relied heavily on Kaden Romesburg, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Zaun, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Bartlesville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Marlow, they moved to 13-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Bartlesville will face off against Stillwater at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marlow, they will take on Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Outlaws have won six straight at home dating back to last season, while the Wolves won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
