Indian Creek extends home losing streak to three

Recap: Indian Creek Eagles vs. St. Mary's Saints

The Indian Creek Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Mary. Indian Creek has not had much luck with St. Mary's recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyle Harvin, who scored 17 points. Harvin continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Evans, who scored 16 points.

Indian Creek dropped their record down to 7-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for St. Mary's, their win bumped their record up to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will face off against Loyola Blakefield at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Loyola Blakefield's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. As for St. Mary's, they will head out on the road to square off against Concordia Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
