Benjamin extends home winning streak to eight

Recap: Benjamin vs. Trinity Prep
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Benjamin Buccaneers had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Saints a 8-0 shutout. The win was just business as usual for Benjamin, who after 17 games remain undefeated this season.
They hit Trinity Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Lily White (5),
Sofia Balistreri,
Zoe Cooper, and
Maria Navarro.
Benjamin pushed their record up to 17-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Benjamin will be playing at home against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
