Volleyball Recap: Marcellus Comes Up Short

Marcellus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Climax-Scotts Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Marcellus' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Climax-Scotts, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1-2.

After both having extra time off, Marcellus and Mendon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Climax-Scotts, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burr Oak at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
