Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Chief Sealth Seahawks

The Roosevelt Roughriders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-48 victory over Chief Sealth at home. Roosevelt has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Roosevelt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jalen Dollar, who scored 16 points. Dollar has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dante Washington, who scored 13 points.

The win (which was Roosevelt's fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Chief Sealth, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chief Sealth's road trip will continue as they head out to face the at 8:30 p.m. on February 2nd. West Seattle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully the Seahawks likes a good challenge.
