Softball Game Preview: Kettering Captains vs. Ferndale Eagles

Kettering is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Ferndale an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Kettering Captains will host the Ferndale Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kettering lost 15-3 to West Bloomfield on Monday.

Meanwhile, Ferndale came up short against Lamphere on Wednesday, falling 13-1.

Ferndale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruby Krupa Grob, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Kettering's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ferndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
