Basketball Game Preview: Sealy Tigers vs. Stafford Spartans

Sealy is 1-8 against Stafford since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sealy Tigers will welcome the Stafford Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Sealy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Sealy lost to Royal on the road by a 67-51 margin.

Despite their defeat, Sealy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Hale Demaree, who posted 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallan Hendry, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Stafford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land 92-43. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 27 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Stafford pushed their record up to 29-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.8 points per game. As for Sealy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Sealy was taken down by Stafford 85-39 in their previous matchup on January 3rd. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sealy was down 45-14.
