Volleyball Recap: Kendrick Triumphs

Kendrick posted their closest win since September 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past the Howard Huskies 2-1. For the Cherokees, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Kendrick who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 15-11.

Kendrick now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kendrick will challenge Therrell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howard, they will venture away from home to square off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
