Softball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Plymouth Whitemarsh came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters. That's more bragging rights for the Colonials, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kalina Childers was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Zoey Robinson was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Plymouth Whitemarsh was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher in four consecutive games.

Plymouth Whitemarsh now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hatboro-Horsham, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Meanwhile, Hatboro-Horsham will take on rival Upper Dublin at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hatters 3.1, the Cardinals 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
