Basketball Recap: Pocahontas Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

After losing to South Pemiscot the last time they met, Pocahontas decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pocahontas Redskins walked away with a 61-54 win over the South Pemiscot Bulldogs on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Pocahontas' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for South Pemiscot, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
