Basketball Recap: Idaho City Comes Up Short

Idaho City played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Garden Valley Wolverines and fell 69-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost five in a row.

Idaho City's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Garden Valley, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Idaho City won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Riverstone International at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Idaho City is facing Riverstone International at the right time seeing as Riverstone International is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Garden Valley, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Salmon River at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
