Volleyball Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

If Vista Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hutto on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wakeland Wolverines on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Abby Norling paced Vista Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Norling got some help from Ella Fazio and her eight assists.

Vista Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Wakeland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Vista Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hebron on the 21st. As for Wakeland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against McKinney on the 21st.
