Basketball Recap: Colon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Factoryville Christian last Monday, Colon came back down to earth. The Colon Magi lost to the Sturgis Trojans at home by a 51-33 margin on Wednesday. The contest marked the Magi's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Colon's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Sturgis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colon will head out to face off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Athens has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Sturgis, they will challenge Three Rivers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sturgis is facing Three Rivers at the right time seeing as Three Rivers is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
