Volleyball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Windham lost against Bonny Eagle back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Scots by a score of 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Scots 25-21 in the first set.

Windham took Bonny Eagle into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 15-6.

Despite the loss, Windham still got an impressive performance from Lauren Neal, who had 14 digs and one assist. Neal has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Windham has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Gorham on the 11th. As for Bonny Eagle, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Deering at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
