Lakeside School entered their tilt with Lowndes Academy on Friday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Lowndes Academy Rebels 11-0. Considering the Chiefs have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson Scott made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in hits (zero). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to doubles, as he's now hit two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Conner Britton and Cole Cassarino did most of the damage at the plate: Britton scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Cassarino scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Britton a new career-high in RBI (three). Brayden Vachon was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Lakeside School's record now sits at 16-1. As for Lowndes Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lakeside School didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-0 victory against Southern Academy on the 1st. As for Lowndes Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Coosa Valley Academy on the 3rd.
