Elida won the last time they faced Lima Senior and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Elida never let Lima Senior on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22.

Lima Senior's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alisandra Vanmeter, who had 16 digs and two assists, and Aryiah Bowie, who had seven assists and six digs. Vanmeter is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Talia Lawrence-Banks also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Elida's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lima Senior, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Elida has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lima Central Catholic on the 6th. As for Lima Senior, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Wapakoneta on the 6th.
