Softball Recap: Shawnee Indians vs. Findlay Trojans
Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Findlay Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Shawnee of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Saturday.
Shawnee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Melson, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabby Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
