Grant has gone a perfect 10-0 against Chavez recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Lancers will head out to square off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Grant will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Grant got the win against Sun Valley Magnet by a conclusive 3-0.

Grant never let Sun Valley Magnet on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Chavez hadn't done well against Poly recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Parrots by a score of 3-1.

Chavez got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 10-25, 34-32.

Grant's record now sits at 19-4. As for Chavez, their record is now 8-10.

Grant took their victory against Chavez in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
