Volleyball Recap: Olean Takes a Loss

Olean lost against Portville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-10.

Portville can attribute much of their success to Addie Walker, who hit 100% for five kills and four digs and two aces. That's the most kills Walker has posted since back in October of 2024.

Olean's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Portville, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Coincidentally, Olean and Portville will both be playing Chautauqua Lake the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Eagles at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
