Basketball Recap: New Franklin Takes a Loss

New Franklin suffered their biggest loss since February 15, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Tipton Cardinals 53-17. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bulldogs' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

New Franklin moved to 18-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Tipton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

As of now, neither New Franklin nor Tipton have any future games scheduled.
