Volleyball Recap: Two Eagle River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Two Eagle River lost against Superior back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bobcats.

While Two Eagle River was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Superior's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Two Eagle River saw an underclassman step up: freshman Luree Shotgunn had four digs and two aces.

Two Eagle River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Superior, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Two Eagle River and St. Regis will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Superior, they will take on Hot Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
