Volleyball Recap: University Liggett Comes Up Short

University Liggett was the 3-0 winner over Cardinal Mooney Catholic when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday.

University Liggett's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Cardinal Mooney Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University Liggett is set to square off against their familiar foe Greenhills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cardinal Mooney Catholic will challenge rival Academy of the Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
