Lake Country Lutheran won the last time they faced Union Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lightning walked away with a 2-0 win over the Broncos. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lightning as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Leila Merigold was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had over her last 17 matches.

Lake Country Lutheran's record now sits at 21-15. As for Union Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-20.

Looking ahead, Lake Country Lutheran will take on Kenosha Christian Life on Friday. As for Union Grove, they will head out to challenge Wilmot at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
