Softball Recap: Kingwood Extends Home Winning Streak to 31

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kingwood walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Dripping Springs Tigers on Wednesday as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kingwood's victory was their 31st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Dripping Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-10-1.
