Gooding dropped their record down to 13-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Kimberly Bulldogs, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Senators couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Kimberly's side, Mallory Kelsey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Kelsey has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Kimberly let Addison Cann and Kalynn Benson run wild. Cann went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Benson went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Cann has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaci Cowger, who went 1-for-3 with three runs.
