Basketball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford lost against Coe-Brown Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Milford Spartans lost to the Coe-Brown Academy Bears on the road by a 43-29 margin. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Milford and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Coming up, Milford will face off against ConVal at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will challenge Oyster River at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oyster River comes in on three and Coe-Brown Academy on six.
