Volleyball Recap: Islands Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Islands lost against Calvary Day back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Islands' loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-4. As for Calvary Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islands will take on The Habersham School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Day, they will head out to face off against Southeast Bulloch at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
