Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Triumphs

Tri-Cities Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They slipped by the Pineville Mountain Lions 52-51.

Tri-Cities Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Jaworski, who went 6 of 12 en route to 13 points and eight rebounds. Jaworski is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Haws, who posted 11 points along with eight boards and six assists.

Tri-Cities Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Pineville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Tri-Cities Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Honaker at 6:00 p.m. Tri-Cities Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season. As for Pineville, they will head out to take on Harlan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
