Corinth had to endure a ten-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the South Pontotoc Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Warriors not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 11th (when they won 3-0).

Corinth was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.

Corinth's victory bumped their record up to 3-20. As for South Pontotoc, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-18-2 record this season.

Corinth will head out on the road to face off against Ripley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Pontotoc, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against North Pontotoc on the 30th.
