Softball Recap: Castle Rock Rockets vs. Fort Vancouver Trappers
Castle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 27-8 to the Fort Vancouver Trappers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trappers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on Thursday.
Castle Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Fort Vancouver, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5-1.
Coming up, Castle Rock will venture away from home to square off against King's Way Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.6 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fort Vancouver, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
